Is there a spell check facility for new pages that I create in Confluence?

Hashim Mohamed

Hi,

Is there a spell check facility for new pages that I create in Confluence?

Thanks

Andrew Frayling

Hi Hashim,

There's no spell checker built in to Confluence as it relies on the spell checkers that are built in to web browsers, see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-1212 for Atlassian's official answer to the feature request and this document (http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Add+Spell+Checking+To+Confluence)linking to how to add spell check support to IE.

Hope that helps,

Andrew.
