Restrict user from creating multiple jira ticket from salesforce

We have service rocket connector installed to connect Salesforce and JIRA. Currently the default behavior is to create/associate as many JIRA ticket as possible from salesforce record page (Currently we have setup on Case object). We want a user to be restricted from creating more than one JIRA ticket per Case in Salesforce. Is there an option to disable create/associate link as soon as a JIRA ticket is linked with a case or a validation rule or something we can put in place to block the user from creating/associating multiple JIRA tickets with a single case record?

Hi Suhail!

Hajar here from the support team. Currently, there isn't an out-of-the box feature to limit the number of creation from Salesforce to Jira. 

However, you may implement the following workaround:

1. Disable Create from Salesforce (Under Feature toggles in the Jira package)

2. Implement the Apex trigger to automatically create Jira issue upon creation of cases

While this does not technically restrict Jira issue creation from Salesforce, it removes the option for the user to manually create more Jira tickets by automatically creating and associating one ticket upon the creation.
