Can I limit JSM agents to 3 when I have 3+ site admins?

Walker Heflin

We are looking to get the free option for JSM to try it out, but I am being told by my admins that because we have ~9 site admins, two of which are svc accts, that they will be auto added as agents, so we will immediately surpass the 3 agent cap for the free option.

Are other people experiencing this? How did you get around it?

Hi @Walker Heflin ,

if you add JSM product to your site, there will be a trial period - during this time there's no need to have only 3 agents. You can try Standard of Premium plan with all of your admins and svc accounts.

Hey Hana,

I should have been more clear. I'm concerned about when the trial clock ends and we have more than 3 agents. We are not in a position to fund a cost producing plan post trial.

Ah, ok.

By default product access is set in a way, that all site admins are also JSM agents. If your site admins don't need the licence, it can be changed (you can remove site-admins group from JSM product access) and you should be ok.
