hi I wanted to know if there was any way I could change the due date and a sub task and make an automation that will automatically change the due date on the parent issue aswell. Basically I want to change the date on the subtask and I want that new due date to go to the story it is attached to.

Yes, you should be able to that, but there might be a problem. What if another sub-task is created? Should the parent's due date change every time?
