Jira Plan (Advanced Roadmaps) - Custom field value data not loading

I'm working a JIRA plan (Advanced Roadmap) and I seem to be having a issue with custom field value data.

When adding a new issue so its staged in the plan (not committed/saved in JIRA), no values are returned to any custom fields which I've included in the plan.

 

As soon as the new issue is committed into JIRA those values are then available to choose from.

Is this normal behaviour or is something broken?

Hi @Adam Wilson and welcome to the Community!

I am seeing the same behaviour in my environment. It seems like normal behaviour. Although a bit annoying, I can imagine why this is happening: custom fields have a context defined to determine the visibility and available options (for select lists e.g.) that needs a reference to a Jira project and issue type. As long as the issue is not saved in Jira, I can only assume the context is missing to interpret that context.
