Confluence query on no of users & how it works

Iif I have a Jira confluence with over 10 users & under a free plan but have subscription for JSM as a paid plan. Even though there's more than 10 users in Confluence, it's still under a free plan.

Could someone explain to me how this works? Just want to understand further.

Hello @joe vee tew ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Your JSM customers and agents are entitled to use Confluence for viewing Knowledgebase articles.  If they view the KB articles from JSM (via portal for customers, or from the Jira interface for Agents) they don't consume Confluence licenses, it's part of the entitlement of JSM.
