Modifying status id to plain english

Hello all, 

 

Ive some automation set up to notify the reporter of a status change via email.The automation is set up and working well. there was a request to notify what the change was in the email to prevent having to check eg

 

'issue 123 has changed and the status is now in progress'

 

What i seem to be stuck on is having it like this 

'issue 123 has changed and the status is now 10013'

 

Is there anyway to change to '10013, 10072 etc' to plain english?

If you are referencing the status attribute of an issue (i.e. {{issue.status}}) then you can get the word version of the status using {{issue.status.name}}.

If that does not address your need, please show us the rule you have constructed and how you are currently inserting the status into the email.
