Domain already verified by someone in your organisation

Question

While trying to validate my organisations domain. I am getting an error as someone else in the organisation has verified the domain.

Except our old free Jira cloud was deleted after inactivity. And I have now registered the same name as before.

How do i find out who verified the domain previously,
And how can I re-verify the domain now?

I have removed the old DNS verification txt record. But this has not helped.
I created a ticket for support but got redirected here.

I have already reviewed that documentation and cannnot proceeded due to the error that someone else has already completed domain verification.

When i tried to get in contact with support the close tickets redirecting me here to the community forum.

Hi @Darian

I would recommend going through the Verify a domain to manage accounts documentation prior to taking further action.

I would recommend getting in touch with Atlassian Support to either activate your old account so you can manage the domain name or request the old account and its domain be purged if possible.
