Roadmap did not save and I cannot locate the table.

I created a document using the roadmap template and I documented information in the roadmap table when I finished I selected insert to save and when I returned to the page the entire table was missing. 

Where would the table be? Is there a way to restore the previous version?

If you check the page history is it in one of the old versions?  This would be the only way to get it back.
