How to track the trace of a case in the reports?

Currently we have the standard reports of the tool and we need to be able to see in the reports the responsible parties that had the case during its life in the system.

If it is not possible to see it in the default reports, be able to develop or design a custom report.

What exactly would you like to see in your report?

For system changes like project, user, workflow or custom field created/updated/deleted, etc., check out the built-in audit log. Read more about Audit log events in Jira

For user activities on the issue level (assignee, status, description changes, etc.), you can try to create a report with Issue History for Jira. My team developed this app as a diary to monitor all past changes. As it's highly customizable, you can adjust the report to your needs.

The plugin is free for up to 10 users and has a 30-day free trial.

That depends really, you can already see a ticket's history which shows changes in ownership and such.

Now the tricky part is the reporting, are you using a team-managed or company-managed software project?

Team-managed has extremely limited options for reporting.

Even in Company-managed projects there isn't anything out of the box that would give you what you wanted.

I'm in no way affiliated with this company however I found that the first 10 users are free so it might be worth trying as it further expands the reporting capability in Jira Cloud.
