Why we need Edit issue permission to move an issue from backlog to sprint

In a project, even we have 'Manage sprints' permission why we need 'Edit issue' permission to move an issue from backlog to Sprint.

@nagpo91 , By adding an issue to a sprint, the sprint value of the ticket is updated and that is an edit operation
