Unable to change issue status + cannot change workflow

Question

I am facing an issue whereby once I have set the issue status to 'Deprioritized' - I do not have permission to change it to any other status (ref: Screenshot 1). However, if I try to change the workflow, I am also facing similar issue whereby I am not allowed to change the workflow (ref: Screenshot 2).Appreciate support on this issue.

@Kumaresen Nair -

You should check to see if there are any out-going transition(s) to other WF statuses associated with the "Deprioritized" status.  The most common cause is that whoever setup the customized WF for your project fail to setup any transition going out from the "Deprioritized" status.

This is was not the case, then you will need to then look into the condition(s)/validator(s) setup associated to the transition steps.

I would expect that you could transition it to On Hold but it might be that there are other restrictions in place.

Since there is no other way out of this status, On Hold should be the only option. When an issue is On Hold, it can also, only be transitioned to Deprioritized.

If you need other transitions to be possible, talk to your administrator to have you sorted out.
