Automation trigger when Form is submitting the first time only

Question

I have an automation that triggers when a Form is submitted within a ticket - but if someone reopens that form and re-submits it, the automation triggers again.

Any way to configure so that it only triggers the first time a form is submitted, but not on subsequent re-submissions?

Note this only addresses possible triggers occurring if the status was ever Done but according to your post it would meet the requirements. Also, if the form is only submitted ate Create the a trigger of issue created would be best to avoid subsequent triggering since create only occurs once.

One way would be to add a JQL condition- Status Was not Done. Adjust the status to align with your workflow.
