How to update toast notifications?

Question

I'm looking to remove toast notifications for updates/changes in Jira. These are the directions, but I don't see "Toast notifications" anywhere.

* Click on your profile icon in the top right-hand corner of the Jira interface.
* Select "Personal settings" from the dropdown menu.
* In the left-hand menu, click on "Notifications".
* Scroll down to the "Toast Notifications" section.
* Toggle the switch to the off position to disable toast notifications.
* Click the "Save changes" button to save your new notification settings.

Can someone show me exactly where this is?

PLEASE DO NOT WRITE BACK WITH MY EXACT DIRECTIONS I COPIED ABOVE. I am looking to hear from people who have actually tried this or can try this. I have spent over an hour trying to sort this out. Thank you.

I'm waiting on an update to this as well. They appear every... single... time... I create a story, and I'm like "yes, I know... I just created that story... thank you and go away!"

This feature is not at all helpful, gets in the way for seasoned Jira users, and should have the ability to be toggled off in settings.

I also would like to disable the toast messages. They're annoyingly blocking my work area, and I always need to separately click to close them. Is there a way in 2025 to do this already?

I am suffering the same.  It wasn't so bad with cloning.  Now, every time i triage an issue, a toast message shows up to commend me.  I don't need the validation, thanks anyway,
