I have one Backlog and 6 SCRUM teams to work on user stories. How do I assign an issue at team level so that I can create dashboard to show status for different teams. Also I want to add a team column at the combined sprint backlog view.

My suggestion is :

Create a group custom field "Team" and use it in create/edit screen
Put field "Team" as Assignable users in the Project Permission scheme
Add swimlanes on your scrum board based on Team group

This should be the trick,
