How can I view roll-up time bars when grouped by release?

Question

I love the plans function in Jira Roadmaps to get a holistic view of my portfolio. I would love to utilize the ability to group my issues by release, but this view doesn't display time bars on the roadmap unless I drill way down into the issues the release contains.

Is there a way to either view the date range of the release start and end dates as a time bar on the timeline, or to roll up the dates from the underlying records in the release and view the time range on the top level without drilling down?

I have the same question but for grouping issues by label. The grouped issues dates will not rollup to the upper grouping.
