What activity triggers a notification when watching an issue?

Steve_G_f38yri

I have some users who watch specific Stories. They have found that when a Story's Epic Link is changed, they do not receive a watch notification. Does anyone know if this is expected? If so, is there a way to be notified when a Story's Epic Link is changes?

Hi @Steve_G

All notification scheme events where All Watchers is added.

These can be following system events:

• Issue Created
• Issue Updated
• Issue Assigned
• Issue Resolved
• Issue Closed
• Issue Commented
• Issue Comment Edited
• Issue Comment Deleted
• Issue Reopened
• Issue Deleted
• Issue Moved
• Work Logged On Issue
• Work Started On Issue
• Work Stopped On Issue
• Issue Worklog Updated
• Issue Worklog Deleted
• Generic Event

The change of the Epic Link is not considered an issue update.
