Is it possible to search for all Epics that don't have any child issues?

Adam Taylor

Hi all,

I'm trying to search across the programme for Epics that don't have any child issues so that I can jump in and help the team to unpack the epic into stories and tasks.

However, while I know how to search for Issues without parents, I can't figure out how to search for Epics without Issues.

Is this even possible? Google seems ambivalent on the point.

Hi @Adam Taylor

It is not possible and frustrating as well.

Since you are on premium you can try to create a plan to list all the epics and see the ones without any issues under it.

You can also create a simple report using eazyBI which is another app for reporting.

I hope it helps.
