Parent links were broken

Hello, We can face All Parent links were suddenly broken.

Please advise how to investigate what happened and how can be resolved?

Did a Jira Administrator change the Issue Hierarchy configuration? When doing that there is a warning that parent links will be broken if the change is saved.
