adding instruction or a pop up

Question

Hi all,

We are trying to display an implication when users set or upgrade priority to an incident. E.g. when setting an incident as a high priority, it will send an instant call to the oncallers.

Ideally, we want to display a pop up dialog. But we can settle with a one line description below the priority field. But neither seems to be supported. Any suggestion?

Very interesting angle. I can see how it works around the technical limitation. I do have to evaluate the user experience.

Hi Zekai,

One way to do it might be to remove the priority field from the Edit screen. Then create a self looping transition on the status in the workflow (a transition that starts on a status and ends on the same status). Then add a transition screen to the transition that includes the Priority field and the field you want them to populate.

That way, that have to execute the transition to change the priority, and thus get the popup screen.

Mainly on the details view. So when users go to the service desk project, not the intake form.  During both creation and updating.
