Automation for auto update epic sprint based on child issues sprints

Question

Hello,

I've created an automation to update an epic based on the story/bugs/tasks sprint that were assigned to it.

The automation is running successfully yet nothing changes and I 'm not sure why.

I have also tried using Triggerissue.sprint & Triggerissue.epic.sprint and both automation are running successfully yet the epic sprint is not updated.

I would appreciate if anyone may guide me how to sort this out.

Hi @Ran Wronsky

Smart values are name, spacing, and case-sensitive.  Have you tried changing to use what the documentation shows for trigger issues:

When a smart value does not match, it gets replaced with null, and so could cause problems in rules.

Please show us the rule Audit Log details for an execution of the rule where you say it runs successfully but nothing is updated.
