I'm having trouble signing up for Mojang Bugs Jira

Andrés Monge_4iskpf

The new account registration that we currently have in mojang bugs jira is that when I wanted to create my account in mojang bugs to report what I should detect something strange in the minecraft game so I had to sign up and put my microsoft account to have verification success and wait in my outlook emails and I received the mail and when I got in it says that I have to put the name of user and my password and I had my Xbox gamertag on the user and put my back and I still have the same message that your username and password is invalid or another account was created sure that I have created many accounts lately and wanted to create something different and it was difficult because I keep receiving the same error so maybe they can make a new registration system so that other users do not have the same error as me. like for example new sign up on google account, facebook account and apple account on mojang bugs please thanks

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You will need to talk to the administrators of the system to get them to change your account. They will probably ask you to log in with your existing account first, before they can make changes. Have you tried resetting the password for your existing account?

yes but how to change username on mojang bugs jira this is my question

Nic Brough -Adaptavist-

You don't. To "change" the username, you have to sign up for a new account with the new user name and delete the old account.

I did that but I do not know with whom I will ask to delete my old account

I also have the same question, because the registration process described here sounds unnecessarily confusing, especially when the Microsoft account verification appears to succeed but the account cannot actually be accessed afterward. I can understand why this would be frustrating when you receive the verification email, complete the required steps, and then get an error saying that the username or password is invalid or that another account may already exist. The Xbox gamertag being used as the username could also make things confusing if the Mojang Bugs account system treats usernames separately from Microsoft or Xbox account names. This is particularly relevant for players who are trying to manage Minecraft content such as Actions and Stuff Minecraft, since they may expect their existing Microsoft or Xbox identity to work consistently across related services. You can check more about it here https://actionandstuff.io/ It would be helpful if the registration page clearly explained whether users need to create a completely new username and password, or whether their existing Microsoft account credentials are supposed to be used after verification. When an account has already been partially created during the signup process, repeatedly trying to register again can potentially make the situation even harder to understand.
