Open kanban card in new tab

Question

I use the Kanban functionality daily, and you sued to be able to open a card in new tab by clicking on the card key or with previous versions by simply clicking on the card (Ctrl+Click).

However that function seems to have been turned off and instead the only you can do that now is via the 'useless' mini summary page .

Does anyone know of a way to do this without having to open the mini summary page?

Which Atlassian appear to have closed as a duplicate of https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSW-15598, so assume they might be looking at your problem under that.

Take a look at the last few comments on:

Ctrl+Click on the issue key works for me (using JIRA Cloud on Mac with Chrome). At least it opens a context menu allowing me to pick 'Open in new tab'.

Cmd+Click on issue key doesn't currently work, but it should. There is a bug raised with Atlassian for this:

Which operating system / browser combination are you using?
