Dashboard showing progress of multiple Kanban boards

Patne, Pravin (Contractor)

I have Project under which multiple Kanboards are created. I would like to create a Dashboard which will show the progress of all the Kanban boards.. Progress like in each Kanban board how many Epics, User Stories etc. are completed, how much effort were spent etc.

Hi Patne - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I would start by creating a filter that includes all of the projects used by the boards. Something as simple as Project in (ABC, DEF, 123, etc.).

The add your gadgets to the dashboard and base them on this underlying filter.

Hi @Patne, Pravin (Contractor) and welcome to the Community!

Boards are nothing more (and nothing less) than a view of a selection of issues you select through a filter.

A dashboard is a selection of gadgets that - in the same way - represents a visual representation of issues via, again, a filter.

If you use the same filters you defined for your kanban boards and use them to set up dashboard gadgets, you should be on the right path. It is just a matter of selecting appropriate gadgets to display the information you need to show.

Hope this helps!

Was thinking on similar approach but as there were lot of Epics and User Stories already created wanted to check if there is any easy approach.

Creating the filter is VERY easy and will take you a few seconds. It will include everything that you have already created.

Thanks for your help. Let me take shot on that.

As there are Epics and User stories already created by other team members. So need to check the easy way to filter them.
