Hi everyone,
I checked the JIRA community posts but couldn't find an up-to-date post about my issue. If this question/topic already exists, please share the link.
So here is the case:
We have currently a project with a restrictive security scheme: only the reporter and the project's members can see the issue. However, we need sometimes to add extra users to an issue.
Looks like the solution is to add people as a watcher.
At the moment, if I add someone as a watcher but they can't see the issue (not being in an appropriate group), they won't get sent a notification. If I could preemptively grant "All watchers" the Browse permission, then I could safely add watchers, knowing they will be able to see the issue.
Would it be possible to define a security level including "All Watchers"? Or JIRA has another way to solve that issue?
