Terminate existing Space export

Question

I initiated an export pages task in Confluence Cloud and accidentally closed the progress view window.

I tried to initiate an export task once again only to be prompted with the message that an export was running in the background.

Is there any way I can check the progress of this background task?
How will I be notified to download the prepared zip file once the task is complete?

You can actually check the status by going here: https://[your confluence URL]/wiki/rest/api/longtask

There isn't a way to check the progress of the task. I suggest to initiate a new export of the space.
