How can I check my users' last activity in Business Projects (work management templates)?

Hi All,

We're using Jira Cloud at my work and I have most users using the Business Projects (Work Management template). I also have some users using Software Projects.

I would like to see all my users activities in Jira, i.e. who hasn't accessed it for a while and who accesses it the most. Can I get this kind of data?

Hi Marion,

If you create a dashboard and add the Activity Stream gadget to it, you can configure it to see all Jira activity for a user.

Thanks John. I know about the feature you mention. I want activity for ALL PROJECTS, not just within one. Is this possible? Ideally could Jira make graphs per user?

See the screenshot below. But you just add the gadget like I previously mentioned and then include the user's account id. This will show all of the user's activity across all projects.

Hi John,

Thank you for the screen shot. I already use the Dashboard for the project (with all the users I want to track). I'd like data on how often a user updates the project, and who are my top 3 users and bottom 3. It would be great engagement piece to highlight the best users. And to see what fields they are updating. It should be simply analytics but I can't find anywhere in Jira cloud that allows me to do this.

Hey there! In Jira Cloud, you can check your users' last activity by running an activity stream report. This will show you a timeline of all activity in your project, including when each user last accessed it. You can also filter the report to show only specific users or time periods. To access this report, go to your project settings and click on "Activity" in the sidebar. From there, you can customize your report and download the results as a CSV file. Hope this helps!
