Email setFrom() groovy jira

Question

I've to use this code to send email from my personal gmail or any other account this mail server does not want to send it, any help?

def email=new Email(aplicantEmail)
email.setFrom("mypresonal@gmai.com")

Should I configure something else in the system email settings?
