Hi, we have a Jira account that was active about three years ago. We want to go back to actively use Jira again but we don't know who is the Jira admin. I'm the CEO and typically get invoices.

How do I reset the admin or get more info how to invite a new admin?

When I try to invite new team members it says the "Jira administrator" will be asked for approval. But no one in the team gets that email request.

I assume you have access to your instance?

There's different levels of Admin in Cloud - see these on this help page

Depending on whether your site is using the old or new user management experience - you'll need to be either a Site Admin or Organization Admin to manage access

You (and others) can test access by checking what access you have in Jira's Settings:

• Select Settings (cog icon in top-right corner)
  • If you have access to User Management and/or Billing - select them, see where it takes you. This level of access is usually Site/Org Admin
  • If you only have access to product administration - Issues, System, etc - you're a Product Admin
  • If you see neither, and just see your Personal Settings, you don't have Admin

You could also check if anyone has access via https://admin.atlassian.com/ - if you have access here, you're most likely an Organization Admin

You should then be able to manage access if you're in the new user access experience by:

• Selecting your Org
• Selecting Directory from the top navigation bar

If all else fails, and you still can't locate an Admin - I'd contact Atlassian Support for further assistance! Also contact Support if your site is not currently active.
