How to get all dropdown values of a custom field in JIRA

Hello Team,

Is there an API to get all the drop down values for a custom field in JIRA?

Does this requires JIRA ADMIN access? If so: Is there any way to get the values without JIRA ADMIN access or what are the details I need to request from my JIRA ADMIN to make this work.

Thank you for the reply. Could you please let me know what should be the fieldId and contextId? Also as you have mentioned to run this api I should be having Jira admin permission?

/rest/api/3/field/{fieldId}/context/{contextId}/option

I'm assuming the fieldId would be the custom field id ie) customfield_10005

You will need to use this api, but you will need the be a Jira admin to use it.
