How to use "text ~" to exclude issues containing this text from the queue?

Question

Hi,

I changed the conditions for creating the issues queue to exclude tickets containing the text "(Test)" from it:
NOT text ~ "(Tests)" AND (resolution = Unresolved OR status = Postponed) ORDER BY "Time to resolution" ASC

However, issues for which Summary field contains "(Test)" do not disappear from the list. Why?

The "does not contain" operator is !~

If you're looking for some text in the Summary you could try this:

summary !~'Tests' AND (resolution = Unresolved OR status = Postponed) ORDER BY "Time to resolution" ASC

As stated by other community leaders - you need to use "!~" operator.

In addition, if you are focusing just on the "Summary" field, then You will need to use "summary" instead of "text" in your JQL.

Lastly, when you evaluate "Resolution" field, it is recommended to use Resolution is empty instead of looking at the word of "Unresolved" in your JQL.  The value of "Unresolved" is actually the internal representation of NULL value in Jira/JSM for the Resolution field.  Unless you have actually introduced a value of "Unresolved" as an option for the Resolution field, if that was the case, you should consider to remove the option ASAP.
