Cant see the option to configure the swimlane in JIra

Hi,

 

I'm trying to sort the jira board based on the reporters but I'm not able to view swimlane option in the board settings.Can anyone please help .

Welcome to the community.

Are you working with a board for a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project? It will say which it is at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left.

The options your can access to configure a board are based on the above, and your access.

If you are working with a board for a Team Managed project there is not a Swimlanes option in the board settings. Instead you would use the Group By option that you see while you are viewing cards on the board. For a Team Managed project the options available for Group By (a.k.a. Swimlanes) are limited and Reporters is not one of the options.
