How to send an email attachment via smart automation fields but without a link

Hello, 

I'm running on Cloud.

Today a client asked me about the possibility of sending attachments through automation, the problem is that these files cannot be accessed through a link since for security reasons it is not allowed.

Is there the possibility of sending only the attached file?

Welcome to the community.

Adding attachments directly into emails is not supported. The following thread is rather updated, but I think still applies and has useful information that may help you. How-do-I-add-attachments-to-an-e-mail-with-Automation-for-JIRA 

One thing I would note regarding security is that attachments are no more secure than links set attachments have always been a security concern.
