Copy value of custom fields from task to table in the description of epic

Hello Community! I have a question about Jira Software (Cloud) Automations.

I have built an automation to automatically copy content from custom fields of a task into a table in the description of an epic. The question is, when another task is created, how can I add the content from its custom fields to the table as well, without overwriting the description of the epic? Here you can see my automation.

Hi Tobias,

In the Description field, put this at the top before your table information.

That will repost whatever is in the field first, then add the new text from the new issue below it.

Do you know if there is a way, when the value of a custom field in the task is updated / changed, that only this one custom field is also updated in the table in the description of the Epic?

You would probably need a branch in your rule - or a separate rule.
