I have set up a custom Issue Collector form.
When the form is submitted, the response is "Please link task/issue to an Epic".
My form is set up to submit a Bug. How do I assign it to an Epic and remove this error?

This sounds like you have a validator on the create transition that is demanding you fill the Epic Link field, or you have set it mandatory in the field configuration. You'll need to undo whichever one of those it is.
