full width layout rest api

Hey there. I’m trying to create a page with full width layout on confluence using its API.
I added the following parameters but nothing happends. It still creates the page as centered fixed width. `
metadata: {
properties:
{

"<span>content</span>-appearance-draft": { value: <span>"full-width"</span> },
"<span>content</span>-appearance-published": { value: <span>"full-width"</span> },
editor: { value: <span>"v2"</span> }

Is there a workaround this ?
