How to make backlog column show up on a Kanban board?

I'm doing an exercise with the instruction: "If your kanban board has a separate backlog (a Backlog tab), move the backlog back to the board using the Columns tab under board settings." I've visited the Columns tab, but I don't see how to do this. Suggestions? Ideas?

Never mind. I figured out that if I put an issue on it, it would then appear.
