Label Macro showing label that is not on any page

I have the "Labels List" macro on my space's Overview page, which shows a list of all labels used in my space.

There is one label that shows up in that list that, when clicked, shows zero pages using that label.

I used the Advanced Search to see if any archived pages were using that label, but no results came back for that either.

What could be causing this?

Do you know if the label you are referring to was at one point included on a page and deleted or the page that had that label was deleted? I ask because it looks like this is a known issue that has been reported here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-58953. There is a note in this bug that was updated on March 3, 2022 where the PM from the Confluence team says they have plans to improve the overall labels experience next year. It looks like they made some improvements in August (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Confluence-Labels-got-an-upgrade/ba-p/2120369), but it does not look like this bug was fixed yet. You may want to setup some time with the PM mentioned in the bug above and show him/her/them what you are experiencing. I hope this information helps!
