Jira Integration

Question

Hi to all.

Im currently working on integration with our platform (security platform) and jira.

I would like to create tickets according to specific events the user will see in the platform.

on the other hand i would like to get costumer company information such as:

- Project list

- team members list

-teams list

-issues list etceteras

1. do i get full list of all costumer Jira info?

2. do i need to create some kind of token for the integration?

3. Is it possible to get all the info from the costumer Jira or just some of it?

For integrating with jira in order to collect costumer info and create issues acording to specific events i need to firs create a token is that right?

Jira has a quite good REST API which you can use and acquire certain pieces of information. For jira software you can use this https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/intro/

whereas for JSM you can also use in addition this https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/service-desk/rest/intro/
