Make contributions publicly accessible without login

Testuser_8ojsxw

I signed up today to test Confluence, I've only heard good things about it on Google.
I have a question about Confluence.

Is it possible to have Confluence with a free subscription?
I would like to set up Confluence as a wiki and make the contributions publicly available, how does this work?

Kind regards

Yves

Hi @Testuser

Confluence has a free plan for up to 10 users (https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/pricing)

You can then take advantage of the pubic access feature and have it open for the public https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/set-up-public-access/

Thanks for the info

I am in the settings -> global permissions -> anonymous access, unfortunately I cannot make any changes there. Is this not possible during the test phase? But in the free version it works?

Where can I set that the anonymous user has read rights to areas and pages?
Can I set this globally somewhere? I hope that I do not have to set this every time.

@Testuser is the following edit button visible to you?

edit anonymous.png

You can read the documentation to obtain all this knowledge you are asking

First you open your instance to anonymous access, and then for every space you need anonymous access, you grant them the rights you want.

Welcome!
