report duration of tasks in certain states

Erick Bonilla

Hi Community

I've always wondered, Is there a report that tells me how long a task or story has lasted in certain states, for example how long it was in the "in progress" state or how long it was in the "stand by" state, if it is possible to make that report?

If there is, can you share the link of the article?

Thanks a lot!

Hello @Erick Bonilla

No, there is not a built in report for that.

There is a dashboard gadget for Average Time in Status. If you want a report of actual time in status for individual issues you will need to to use a third party app.

Hi @Erick Bonilla ,

there is an open request for that. Please vote it https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-60841

Moreover, on that ticket, there are various suggestion about third part app that could help you on that.
