Link between a macro-activity and the tasks it contains

Hello everyone!

I have a macroactivity that contains other activities. Is it possible to link related functionality to the parent-child?

For example: if I change the state of a macro-activity, all activities under it will change their state // if I delete a macro-activity, all activities under it will be deleted // etc...

You can use Automation for Jira to synchronize information between linked/related issues.

Regarding deleting issues I would STRONGLY advise you to disable the ability to delete issues. When you delete an issue it is permanently deleted. There is no "undo delete" option. The only way to recover the information is if you have it in a backup of the system, or if you use a third party app to intercept the delete process.

Rather than deleting the issues you should change them to a status that indicates they should be disregarded. Or, move them into another project that you use just to contain the "deleted" issues.
