Yo community,
I found a lot of tools on the marketplace
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=retrospective
But don't have much time to evaluate all, could you let me know which one is the best one to do remote retrospective session?
Thanks a lot
I recommend trying Retrospective features of AgileBox.
AgileBox purpose is to provide all utilities Agile team needs to do their work.Planning Poker and Retrospectives are available now and the team is working on adding more.

Note: I am working for DevSamurai, the maker of AgileBox so I'm maybe biased ;-)
Cheers,
Hi @William Mann ,
You can go through 30-day trials one by one and choose the one that works for you and your team.
btw, i think the following plugin is better for remote collaboration teams.

Hey @William Mann - great question!
At minware we make it easy for anyone on your team to run a data driven retrospective. Our tool automatically combines activity from version control, ticketing, and calendars, to tell a more comprehensive story than traditional sprint reports.
To start we show a ticket summary that provides an overview of the sprint:
If you've been running sprint retros you know that a common question that comes up is, “why didn't we meet our commitments?”
minware tries to do the heavy lifting for you. In our notification section we highlight anti-patterns that are likely to have an underlying issue. Here is an example of a ticket in our, "Low Velocity" notification:
After digging into the notifications we show ticket flow and a burn-up chart to help you understand work in progress, and the impact of tasks that are added after the start of the sprint:
Sometimes when a sprint is delayed it has nothing to do with the actual work itself, so we provide a value stream report to isolate different activity types. This helps you understand the impact that each one had during the sprint:
Once we peel away all of those layers, we dig into the time that is spent working on that tasks that went into the sprint:
We try to make it so that anyone on your team can lead a data driven sprint retrospective - there is a lot more than the screenshots I've shared here - please let me know if we can help!
Hi @William Mann
Tenille here from Easy Agile.
You have some great suggestions here from the Community!
I'd like to flag one of our apps too; Easy Agile TeamRhythm. You can jump right into the Sandbox Demo and try for yourself without needing to install anything:
https://demo.easyagile.com/demo/teamrhythm
The demo link will open onto the TeamRhythm story map; you can add retrospective items from each sprint swimlane, or click through to the retrospective board.
Easy Agile TeamRhythm is designed to help agile teams through the cycle from planning through to retrospective. You can turn retrospective action items into Jira tickets, so you can carry your learnings into the next round of planning without them getting lost.
You'll find more information about TeamRhythm on our website, and we'd be happy to answer any questions you have.
Cheers

Yooo @William Mann,From the link you provided, I would recommend trying the app I have developed and used to improve the performance of many teams - Multi-team Scrum Metrics & Retrospective.
1. In-place RetrospectionSelect the reason for an issue of a certain metric of a certain period (years, half-years, quarters, months, or sprints) from a customizable dropdown list and specify how to avoid it in the future in the text area. This information can be used afterwards to construct auto-generated reports for any period to compare teams or periods, and improve performance.
2. Auto-generating reports with Pie Charts and TablesThese reports include sorted reasons and methods to address identified issues, enabling teams to tackle problems systematically — often starting with the most frequent issues (those affecting the largest number of tasks) and working down to the least frequent. There are three types of auto-generated reports:- Team Comparison Report: Compares performance between teams for a specific period. For instance, evaluate incomplete tasks between Team 1 and Team 2 in 2024.- Period Comparison Report: Compares metrics across periods (e.g., 2024 vs. 2023) for one or more teams.- Non-comparison Team Retrospective Report: Displays a team's retrospective results for a given period.
Reports can also group teams, which is ideal for SoS/SAFe/etc. retrospectives:- Compare groups of teams, e.g., Team 1 and Team 5 as one entity versus Team 3 and Team 4 as another.- Compare periods, e.g., 2024 vs. 2023 for Team 1 and Team 5 combined.
Besides the retrospection features, the app provides the ability to measure performance of teams:
3. Tracking and Visualizing Any Team Metric
The app comes with 9 pre-built metrics (Initial Scope, Final Scope, Completed Scope, Uncompleted Scope, Scope Completed Outside, Removed Scope, Unestimated Scope, Re-estimated Scope, Added Scope) and supports any custom metrics created using JQL. Metrics are visualized on bar charts for up to four team boards across sprints, months, quarters, half-years, or years.
4. Viewing and Drilling-Down Bars’ Content
Users can view each bar's content in table format and drill-down from higher-level (years, half-years, quarters, or months) to lower-level periods (down to sprints) to better understand how metrics, especially top-level ones, are constructed.
5. Fine Tuning of Metrics- Including all the issues completed outside of a sprint in Scope Completed Outside by default without needing to add them to a sprint to see them in the metric, unlike native JIRA.- Ability to include issues of Removed Scope in the Uncompleted Scope. A feature not available in native JIRA.- Ability to exclude tickets linked as 'duplicate' to issues in the same sprint from all metrics.- Ability to exclude tickets linked as 'testing discovered' to issues in the same sprint from the Re-estimated Scope and Added Scope metrics.
It is a paid application, but like many others, it has a 30-day free trial period.
Feel free to drop me a msg if you have any questions.
Thanks.
