How to search for some text when the Confluence page is already Published?

Question

Search option (Find) is available when we are in Edit mode, but when the Page is published I am unable to do a search. I am using Expand Content option and hence CTRL + F on the browser is also not working.

Please Help

Since auto expand of the expand macro isn't available (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-54831) and since you really want to search for this text, I see three ways:

* Export the page (and hopefully the macros will be expanded) and then search OR
* Use rest api to search for the text you want
* Find a app from the marketplace which could search within the contracted expand macros

yes..since I am using Expand Content option..even if I try to search using CTRL + F, it will not work.

You mean like pressing ctrl+f and see the searched text highlighted?
