I need to hide some fileds in Issue and Feature

Hello,

When creating issues for a project, I wanted to make sure that the person who's raising/creating the bug/issue is not able to assign the issue to any particular sprints.  For example, if we're in Sprint 10 and someone sees an issue and reports it, I want to "HIDE" the Sprint field in "Create Issue Window" and automatically assign all issues to backlog.  Product Owner will review all issues and will manually assign them to the sprint.  Is that doable?  Basically:

- Hide the "Sprint" field in Create Issue window

- Once issue is reported, it'll automatically go to Backlog

- PO can assign issues to sprints.

Is this doable?

Thank you Fabian, but I'm still struggling resolve this.  Basically:

When I click on Create > Bug > Bug create screen shows up.

In this window, I want to make sure "Sprint" option doesn't show up and as we create issues it goes to backlog.  How do I make this happen?

You can make this field visible again at any time by selecting the Show link. If you want to show a field (which is currently hidden) through Jira's user interface, click the Show link associated with that field. https://bit.ly/3SSuanUYou can hide this field again at any time by selecting the Hide link.

Yes this is possible.  You will need separate screens for Create/Edit/Screen and assign them to your screen schema.  In the Create Screen you will have to remove the "sprint" field from it.
