get projects via Jira Restapi by boardId in next-gen

Hello Dears

In Jira Software RestAPIs, why do we have (GET /rest/agile/1.0/board/{boardId}/project), since, in the next-gen, each project has one board?

 

And the next one is if I want to get all software development projects for an account, must I first get all boards (GET /rest/agile/1.0/board), then for each board get related projects?

Welcome to the community.

The REST API does not apply only to the next-gen (Team Managed) projects. Company Managed projects can have multiple boards, and the API can be used for those projects also.

There are newer versions of the API you should review. Here is the link for V3

I don't see a way to get a list of projects based on the project type, but I may be missing it.
