How to display all the backlog items on the backlog screen

Currently, the backlog within the project does not display all the backlog items. I checked the filter in the board setting and it doesn't filter out anything. The report pulls all the items in the backlog but on the screen, they don't all display. I selected show 500 items but that's not working either. Any ideas?

"We want to make sure you don't have to wait for your backlog to load so, by default, we show you a maximum of 100 issues. ... If you want to see all issues click the Show all issues link that splits your backlog. ... You can click the ... and select how many issues you want to display..."

Are you working in a company-managed project or a team-managed project?

Which type of agile board are you using? I suppose a Scrum Board, but Kanban Board can also have a Backlog enabled.

You typically don't want to show the backlog on your board as your team doesn't need to work on the backlog. They need to focus on issues in To Do or In Progress.

Hi Dave, It's company-managed and a scrum board. On the board you see the different sprints but also you should see the backlog so you can move items from the backlog into a sprint. The only way i can see everything in the backlog is if i create a filter. I need to see all the items in the backlog that are open on the scrum board. thanks

Hi Trudy, I did that already. i selected 500, but not all show. That's my point.

In the project, there are 435 issues but on the backlog view, only 32 are showing. That's the part i don't know how to fix. The filter on the board excludes absolute items, that's it. When i select show all items or, 100 or 500, it doesnt change the count. it continues to show 32 under backlog
