confluence cloud: space categories on confluence dashboard

Hi!

As the number of spaces in confluence increases, the need for a better overview of the available spaces increases. The confluence dashboard includes a list of favourite spaces and a full list of all site spaces.

We would prefer to display a list of categories of spaces, e.g. projects, teams, etc, which users can use to display only one category of spaces at a time.

Possibilities to increase the overview of spaces such as add-ons to confluence, or editing macros to adapt the dashboard, seem not to be available in Confluence Cloud.

Do you have any other suggestions for us?

Hi Florence, 

 

As you are looking to separated and also change the categories to be listed for the spaces, have you considered using the Spaces List macro and select the option related to category? Since this macro will display a list of the spaces by the category option, you need to make sure to insert the category name through the Space Tools option. A good example can be found in this article.

 

While the page using different Spaces List for different categories, you can use it as the dashboard by changing it to be the Home page.
