Need to Count number of issues based on issue type in a Project

I need A script  to Count Number of number of issues that are based on Issue type In a Project. Please Provide a script for that

You don't need a script for this.  

• Search for "project = XYZ"
• Save this as a filter
• Go to a dashboard and add a gadget of type "filter statistics"
• In the config, select 
  • Filter = your saved project filter
  • Group by = issue type

This will give you all the numbers of issues of different types in your project
