Fail to edit rich text in custom field (Text Field (multi-line))

As titled, I have set a new custom filed which is "Text Field (multi-line)". 

According to JIRA doc, I should use "#" / "*" to display the list  (JIRA Doc)

 

However, it failed. I can't set up the list. May I know if my syntax or the setting of the custom field is wrong?

Hi @Chan Yui Lik ,

I think you need to change the renderer of that custom field. You need to go to field configuration for that specific project and change it there.

Navigate to Project Settings -> Issues -> Fields -> Click the pencil icon (Edit) -> Find your field -> Click "Renderers" on the right and change the renderer to Wiki Style Renderer.
